About Andrea Green

Andrea Green is a New Zealand artist, based in the Bay of Plenty interested in expressing people and places.

"My work has previously been sold through gallery’s and exhibitions both here and in the UK and I frequently undertake commissions for portraiture and botanical studies, as well as capturing scenescapes. Currently I am developing some groundbreaking mosaic work which will be suitable in outdoor living environments.

On the spot portraiture is an large part of my work and I have spent many, many hours occupied in this type of work both in NZ and in Europe, and also to support charity fundraising.
Other committed interests include sustainability and education, and I co-ordinate local community gardens.

My love of art started as a child...
As much as possible I try to attend local events and can be found at events like the Little Big Markets, creating portraits
